Jannik Sinner, the World No. 1 tennis player, has revealed the conclusion of his medical tests, which were conducted to investigate the cause of his on-court collapses at the Australian Open and French Open.

What happened?

Sinner suffered from severe dehydration and cramping at the Australian Open, and later struggled with the heat at the French Open, losing in five sets to Juan Manuel Cerundolo.

Medical Tests

He underwent a series of confidential medical tests at Raffaele Hospital in Milan, including in-depth cardiac and metabolic tests, to rule out any pathology or deficit.

The tests were conducted to understand the reason behind his numerous bouts of physical weakness this year.

Jannik Sinner's Update

After his 6-3, 6-3 win over Cameron Norrie at the Tennis Classic at the Hurlingham Club, Sinner provided an update on his medical tests, stating that they came to a conclusion which is very good.

He also mentioned that they worked very much and changed a little bit of the work to see how his body reacts in different conditions.

Sinner's camp has kept the results of his tests close to their vest, but the player himself seems optimistic about his preparation for Wimbledon.

Preparation for Wimbledon

Sinner has been practicing intensely to prepare for the tournament, trying to put in as much fuel as possible for the long season ahead, which includes Montreal, Cincinnati, and the US Open.

He did not experience any dehydration issues during his match at the Hurlingham Club or in his practice sessions at the All-England Tennis Club.

With Carlos Alcaraz pulling out with a wrist injury, Sinner is the overwhelming betting favorite to win his second consecutive Wimbledon title.
